Loving when people lose and regain

Weights do fluctuate naturally anyway (and I also enjoy that cycle 🙂 ) although you are correct that yoyo-ing is pretty hard on one's body after a certain point beyond that margin.

But it's still fun to watch ☺️

Loving when people lose and regain

I've noticed among our circle that after a wife is done having kids, there's usually one last fitness/diet hurrah to try to get the old body back.

And then once they regain, that's usually where it just PILES on and they accept they're "just going to be bigger from now on". And then their definition of "bigger" expands every year with their waist line.

I agree it really makes me want to do a story like that but I would have to think about how I’d want to set it up as I’ve never explored that area of weight fluctuation before.[/quote].

I tend to gain and lose 20-30lbs every winter/spring (been pushing for a few more the last couple years ☺️) Hmu if you need a research subject 😁

As sexy as it sounds, yo-yo dieting is not recommended. Up and down serious weight fluctuations damages your heart tissue.

It's actually healthier to stay consistent even if its at a higher weight than to yo-yo.

Hopefully my incremental 10-15 lbs at a time yo-yos aren’t overly damaging 😅

In my experience, and from what I understand, that is pretty normal honestly. In most cases that's basically one pant size in the US. The effect gets harder on you when it's around 10% of whatever your current weight is. So if your normal weight is 250 lb, a fluctuation of 25 lb either way on a consistent basis is what's pretty hard on you. Of course 10 to 15 lb would be more impactful if you were smaller size.

I said SERIOUS weight fluctuations. Not gonna mention her name but I know an ex web model that went from 450 down to 300 back to 500 back down to 400....thats concerning.

I love seeing someone lose a bunch of weight and they start showing it off and feeling themselves and then slowly they give in to temptations and fall back into old habits worse and worse over time until eventually they've gained so much weight they're even fatter than they were when they were fat before. I also love to see their reactions when they find out they've let themselves get fatter than before where they're just in disbelief and embarassed that they let themselves get so fat

Thank you, it's very important that when someone here expresses what turns them on, that some person will come along and elect themselves the health police and say "It's not recommended." WTG, El Brujero!

Thank you, thank you. You're a bea....*looks at profile*...you're an audience! Thank you!

I know it's weird, sorry...!

There was a chubby friend I knew from a local club who suddenly decided to go on whatever diet. She lost a ton of weight quickly and was LOUD about it on ALL social networks, "You can do it too!" and such. This was around 2017-18.

Then she stopped posting so much and finally stopped posting all together.

I just saw a pic of her at a small 2020 Thanksgiving family gathering and..woah. Gained back all the weight, and looks like more. Her thighs especially.

This drives me crazy...losing and regaining. It's probably not the healthiest thing, either, but there it is.

Once you start losing, you gain double that weight. That is gow I look at it.
